White Wonder Cucumber
Ivory white, 8" long crispy cucumber, very productive, with mild taste. Rare white cucumber, with a tasty flair, was introduced in 1893 by Burpee of Philadelphia, PN who got seeds from a customer in western New York. It is also known as "Long White" and "Albino" cucumber. Spanish explorers traveled with cucumbers to Haiti in the 15th century. North American settlers noted cucumbers growing in their gardens as early as 1630.
