Yellow pattypan summer squash over is 300 years old. This is the tastiest of 4 summer squash trialed on our farm. It tastes like a cross between a spaghetti squash and a cucumber.  I like them best picked small & fried with eggs. You can pick them larger up to 2-3 inches. They grow fast.
