Often varies in size between 3-5 oz. With few seeds, low acid and thick meaty walls, this turns out to be a great tomato for the home and market grower.  Introduced in 1943 as an All American Selection, it has wonderful production.  Perfect sliced or juiced.  It earns its place in your garden.



  • Grow

    (Lycopersicon lycopersicum)

    Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in spring in seed starting mix.

    Keep soil moist, not soggy, at 75 degrees F.  seedlings tend to emerge 7-14 days.

    Seedlings need light from a window sill or proper grow lights for 16 hours a day

    Transplant after danger of frost pasts, check the date of your area.
