Homestead Tomato
(80 Days) Semi-determinate. Known to grow well in a variety of conditions, people have been canning this tomato since the 50's. These perfect red globes are a meaty tomato, making them supurb in a variety of dishes. They are wonderful slicers. This variety is related to Floradade and handles warm humid environments as well. Because it does great in a variety of regions, it earns its name as the Homestead tomato.

Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in spring in seed starting mix.
Keep soil moist, not soggy, at 75 degrees F. seedlings tend to emerge 7-14 days.
Seedlings need light from a window sill or proper grow lights for 16 hours a day
